About Us
Crab-N-Cruz has become a reality from the inspirations of Lu Dawson and Bill Morton's passion for outdoor adventures which include fishing and crabbing. Our adventures have taken us to another level in our lives and we decided that we wanted to share our experience with others.
We believe that we have developed the perfect seasoning recipe and steaming method for our crabs. After sharing many many bushels of steamed crabs and corn with our family and friends, we decided we wanted to share it with our community and the many visitors that share our waters each summer.
Lu's passion for the Maryland Blue Crab goes back to when her family vacationed in Ocean City every year for two weeks as a child. "I remember learning how to eat a crab for the first time when I was 8 years old". Lu is a resident of Ocean City and is very excited to share her love for the water and the community.
Bill has been familiar with the waterman's way of life having family deeply rooted on Tilghman Island and Deal Island. Bill is a resident of Ocean Pines and you will see Bill's family heritage from the Islands in many of our recipes.
